V R V Foods had entered the Indian Made Foreign Liquor Sector by setting up a new Bottling Unit at Sansarpur Terrace (H.P) in the year 1992 with a single bottling line operation.
In the year 2006, a POT STIL re-distillation plant was also installed at Sansarpur unit to improve the quality of spirit and to give to the consumer improved quality of alcohol. Presently, there are four bottling lines operating at Sansarpur plant with a capacity to produce 5000 case per day. Presently we are bottling the prestigious brand of M/S Mohan Meakin Limited ie "OLD MONK RUM" and well known brand of M/s John Distillers Limited ie ORIGINAL CHOICE WHISKY and ORIGINAL CHOICE RUM at our plant.
Besides, this we have also launched our own brand by the name "HILL TOP" & "OLD PINE". They have been placed in regular and medium category in Rum, Whisky & Gin segment. Demand from Himachal Pradesh market has been quite encouraging for these brands. We have also launched good quality country liquor by the brand name "NOORIE "(in four flavors) in H.P market. We are going to set up two more bottling lines to meet the future demand.
During last one decade we have rich experience in managing Brewery, Distillery and IMFL bottling units. We have also professional expertise in launching new brands and maintaining existing brands.
• In the year 1998 , we had marketing and management tie up with M/s Mohan Meakin Ltd. To manage their Solan Brewery Unit. We had successfully managed the entire production, sales and marketing of the unit for a decade. We also assisted Mohan Meakin Ltd. in establishing of new brand of Strong Beer, i.e; MEAKIN 10000 in the market. During this period, we increased the production of Beer to 14 Lakhs cases per annum at Solan Unit.
• We have strong marketing network in the Himachal Pradesh. We have 13 Whole sale Depots in Himachal Pradesh at following location :
• Kangra (L-13 ,L-1)
• Kullu (L-13 ,L-1)
• Hamirpur
• Nurpur
• Dehra
• SunderNagar
• Dharamshalla
• Una
• Mandi
• Chamba
• Solan
Further, in the year 1999 we also took over the management & marketing control of Mohan Meakin Ltd. unit at Dera Bassi, Bankanpur, Punjab. During this period we increased the production of the unit for PUNJAB market to around 300000 cases per annum . We also have strong marketing team for the state of Punjab.
• We have also successfully managed the marketing of all brands of Mohan Meakin Ltd. in the Canteen Stores Department for past several years. We have a professional team of sales personnel for marketing products at Canteen Stores Department. We were able to make Old Monk Rum largest selling rum in two of the four depots of Canteen Stores Department in the state of Jammu Kashmir.
• We have also been able to successfully manage the I.M.F.L and Country-liquor operations in the state of Uttar-Pradesh.
• We have also managed bottling units in the state of Jammu & Kashmir to produce OLD MONK RUM for supply to Canteen Stores Department & to civil market . With our marketing and supply efforts we were able to make OLD MONK RUM one of the leading rum in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.
